During this audio conference, we will take a new look at one of the most dreaded areas for many bankers – the development of information technology policies and procedures. We will show you how to add value to your IT policy and procedure development process by integrating it with your institution’s overall risk management and governance process.

We will cover a variety of subjects, including:

  • “Having the Right Arrows in your Quiver” – How to determine the right combination of IT policies that will meet your operational needs and keep your institution out of regulatory “hot water”.
  • “Avoiding the Boiler Plate curse” – How to develop specific, custom IT policies that mirror your institution without having to “reinvent the wheel”.
  • “Taking the Pain out of Policy Development” – How to develop a dynamic policy and procedure development process that gets the right personnel involved at the right times.
  • “Policies vs. Procedures – What’s the Difference?” – How to determine what subject matter and detail level is best suited for high-level policies and which should be contained within detailed procedures.
  • “Sharing the Wealth” – How to identify and locate good sources of materials to speed your policy development process.
  • “Beyond the FFIEC” – How to develop policies and procedures that bring value to your institution through the incorporation of IT best practices.
  • “The Circle of Life” - How to develop “living” IT policies that will stand the test of time (and auditors).
  • And much more!

The program includes a 30-minute Q&A session following the presentation. Listen in and get the chance to ask your specific questions!
