About This Conference:
Join us for this entertaining and informative session that will take the stress out of IT exams while giving you takeaways and examples of how to succeed in today's high-tech, heavily-regulated world of banking.
IT exams are now more stringent and far-reaching than ever before. Regulators expect bankers to maintain certain documentation and controls. Your bank's future could very well depend on the success of your next IT exam. Get a poor rating, or regulatory enforcement, and branching plans or other strategic endeavors requiring regulatory approval may come to a screeching halt. Overpromise, or take a knee-jerk reaction to every exam recommendation, and risk dooming your bank to mediocrity or failure with overcompliance and unnecessary controls. High performing banks strike a healthy balance.
Learn how to pass your next IT exam with flying colors. We will outline a practical approach designed to protect your bank, prepare your people, and put your bank on the path to success. Seminar topics will include:
- The Pre-Game Show: Preparing for the Exam
- Managing the Examination Process from Entrance to Exit
- Documenting the IT Control Environment
- Best Practices in IT and Operations
- Securing the Bank Without Breaking the Bank
- Beyond the FFIEC Booklets: Staying Ahead of the Curve
- Most Misinterpreted Laws and Regulations in Banking
- Responding to Regulatory Criticisms with Tact and Confidence
- Making the Case to Management for New Technology Projects
- Top IT Exam Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them
Plus, 30-minutes after the audio conference will be set aside for an interactive question and answer session. Listen in, and get the chance to ask your specific questions!
This audio conference is part of our Continuing Professional Development Series. All attendees of the audio conference qualify for a FREE Certificate of Attendance!
